World Society for Reconstructive Medicine, Korea
June 15-16 2017
Professor Ramakrishnan was an invited speaker at the World Society for Reconstructive Medicine, held in Seoul, South Korea. He spoke on efficiency in microsurgical breast reconstruction.
“The World Society represents the best microsurgeons from around the world, which makes it a perfect place for the exchange of ideas.
“Efficiency in microsurgery is extremely important – it has been proven that a shorter time in theatre reduces recovery times and hospital stay, and is better for the patient overall. My personal technique has been honed so that I am able to perform 3 DIEP flaps in a day, and this is something I lecture on all over the world.”
